This is the bouns activity of the winter learning Journey
My design of the flag is black and red with a white circle with a fern inside it. What inspired me to create this flag was the traditional colors of Maori patterns.
I really like the flag that you have created for this activity. It is bright and very eye catching. The colours definitely complement one another nicely. I wonder if we should consider incorporating other colours into the flag that capture the diversity of New Zealand society. We do have many people living in New Zealand from other countries (eg. Tonga, Samoa, India, Canada). Do you think that we should 'add' them into the flag somehow? It is a hard question, I know...
