The zebra and the lion!

I know this when I write a poem about a predator and a prey.

Poor zebra and happy lion!

In the pridelands lived a lion, his mane was brown and he was so down. He wished to have something to eat but all that remained was a little flea, he wished he had a zebra that was yummy and plump. Clickity, clack! clippity, clop a zebra spinning like a clock. Oh the lion caught sight of this heavenly light and got ready to pounce and he pounced and bounced until he gobbled up the poor zebra. WALT understand the the text I read. I know this when I use blabberize to blab my poem.

YUCK, I am never going to KFC again!

I'll always remember playing badminton!

On Friday it was the last session for badminton, I felt sad that it was our session. As soon as it was morning tea, we all changed into our P.E gear quickly because it was our turn.

Soon after bell went, we walked up to the hall because were meeting coach Ben there. Soon we made it up the steep hill and we stood next to the chairs that were just outside the hall.

Coach Ben told us not to sit on the on the chairs because we were doing exercises, I did not not want to do the exercises because I was too tired from walking up the hill. However we it turned out to be fun because we did exercises then we played a short game called stuck in the mud, coach Ben explained the rules and selected from the middle.

Siu, Shannon and Alessandra were the taggers in the first round. We were told to find a big space because we might bump into each other when we run.

As soon as we were in our spaces, the game began. The taggers came after us and some of us got tagged and some of us got away.

When all of us were tagged, the game was over, coach Ben called us to stand next to the chairs. The next the he got us to do was to practise our back hand and forehand grips because we needed to practise those skills so we can play better.

Coach Ben told us told us to grab a shuttle and a racket so we can have some practise. After that, coach Ben put three movable nets across the hall so we can have a rally against each other. Then we were spilt into and each group was allocated to a net. coach Ben quickly explained the rules to us.

As soon as he finished speaking, we started started the rally, we took turns on each round. After a while the rally was over and we said, "Thank you" to coach Ben and left the hall.

I had fun at badminton, I hope we have badminton next term as well so I can improve my badminton skill.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Pancakes are going to rule the world!

We are learning to understand the main ideas of the text/book that we have heard.

What makes Jesus human like us!


We are learning to understand how Jesus' humanity.
I know I can do this when I write down how Jesus showed his humanity in the scriptures.

YAY, my eyes are filled with light!

We are learning to reflect on the message from church.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I retell the message from church about the souls of our eyes.

My wonderful weekend with my baby cousins!

On Saturday, my baby cousins, Kiki and Andreas came over because we had to look after them for the day. I did chores to pass the time before they came over. At 12.00a.m,  my baby cousins came. I went outside to help their papa, because their were so many bags to carry inside (it was heavier than I thought).

Soon as I made it to the house (finally!). I dropped their bags inside my parents room because they will get in the way. Then I set up my Wii console so they could play on it while I play Minecraft on my Xbox 360.

On Minecraft, there were slimes all over Kiki's house, How gross! I got a diamond sword to destroy the slimes by whacking them all of the roof, However it was no use, the slimes kept on dividing into smaller shapes and sizes.

I gave up because there was too much slimes on the house, I turned off the game and checked what my cousins were doing. They were just playing game and I decided to join them. They were playing Game Party 2. Before long we finished the game so we put the controllers back and to the living room.

After a while, it was night time, so my baby cousins had to go to sleep. The next day we went to a Sunday mass at church. We had pizza after church and watched music on the T.V until night time. Then it was time for my baby cousins to go home to there papa. So I got their bags and put it in the truck and said, "Goodbye" to my baby cousins.

I had fun with my baby cousins, I hope that they can come again so we can play more games

I know I can do this when I add exclamation marks, commas and full stops correctly in my recount.

I didn't know that Jesus endured so much pain!

WALT understand the timeline of Jesus.
I know this when I put the key events from Jesus' life in order and write 3 descriptions of the events. 

1.People are laying ferns on a path to praise Jesus.
2.Jesus resurrected from the dead.
3.Jesus ascended to heaven.

I wonder what the future is like?

Dear future children of Saint Patrick’s school, we have buried this capsule dedicated to show you what it was like in 2015.


The chromebooks in our time were not holographic, there weren't many colour options for the chromebook. I wonder what chromebooks look like in your time?


What does your furniture look like? Our furniture isn't that old fashioned. It is either wooden furniture or made out of plastic.
