Museum of awesomeness!

On Sunday after church, I went out with my uncle Michael to the Museum. We were going there because we wanted to look at some very old artefacts. When we arrived there we went inside and went to the reception.

My uncle Michael showed his passport  to the receptionist and she let us in for free because we live in Auckland. We were so lucky that we are able to go in free.

The first exhibit that we saw was of the Maori culture. There were a lot of cool things like a whole replica of of a Maori village.

The next place that we went was the old school exhibit. We saw a lot of old pictures, an old blackboard, a feather  and a slideshow. We even saw an old picture of Saint Patrick's school.

Next we finished off our visit with the volcano exhibit. At the exhibit there was an simulation house of a real volcano eruption. I really wanted to check it out, but a red light had a sign that said 'Do not enter', This meant we had to wait for 12 minutes, So Michael and I patiently waited for the simulation to end.

While we were waiting,  we were looking at the cutaways, diagrams and pictures of volcano and reading the descriptions.

After a while, the green light showing for the next groups so we went in. When we went inside, the television was on showing the news, I felt really bored was on for a long time. So I started  looking in to the sliding which had a screen behind it showing an ocean and lots of houses.

After a while, an explosion occurred on the screen. It was an underwater volcano and a cloud of ash was heading straight towards us. Lucky it wasn't real.

After a while, the simulation finished, so Michael and I ended our visit   and went home.

I had fun at the museum, my favourite part was the simulation because it was scary, but I was able to experience what an earthquake can feel like. I hope we can visit the museum again soon.

We are learning to understand and use descriptive language in our writing.
I know I can do this when I choose appropriate adjectives to describe my weekend.

My wonderful weekend with my baby cousins!

On Saturday, my baby cousins, Kiki and Andreas came over because we had to look after them for the day. I did chores to pass the time before they came over. At 12.00a.m,  my baby cousins came. I went outside to help their papa, because their were so many bags to carry inside (it was heavier than I thought).

Soon as I made it to the house (finally!). I dropped their bags inside my parents room because they will get in the way. Then I set up my Wii console so they could play on it while I play Minecraft on my Xbox 360.

On Minecraft, there were slimes all over Kiki's house, How gross! I got a diamond sword to destroy the slimes by whacking them all of the roof, However it was no use, the slimes kept on dividing into smaller shapes and sizes.

I gave up because there was too much slimes on the house, I turned off the game and checked what my cousins were doing. They were just playing game and I decided to join them. They were playing Game Party 2. Before long we finished the game so we put the controllers back and to the living room.

After a while, it was night time, so my baby cousins had to go to sleep. The next day we went to a Sunday mass at church. We had pizza after church and watched music on the T.V until night time. Then it was time for my baby cousins to go home to there papa. So I got their bags and put it in the truck and said, "Goodbye" to my baby cousins.

I had fun with my baby cousins, I hope that they can come again so we can play more games

My fun weekend at Teenz's house!

Last Saturday, I woke up to a bright summer morning, I was really happy because it was a beautiful morning. I got out of bed and rushed to the kitchen to have breakfast. After that, I played Minecraft, I built a house out of wood glowstone and glass.

Next I did some chores around the house, like cleaning the bed, taking out the rubbish and wiping the table, Then my baby cousins came and I got their large and heavy luggage.

After that, my mum told me to get ready because we were going to Teenz house for a BBQ, So I rushed to get read but when I was rushing I accidently bumped into my cousin. I said, "Sorry!" to him and kept going.

After a while, we were all ready my mum took us to Teenz's house. When we got there, my cousins, auntie and my nana were already there. After I greeted them I played with my cousins.

After a while, the BBQ was ready so we all grabbed a plate filled with meat patties, steak and sausages. After we were finished, I went to go play games with Masi, we played GTA 5.

After that, we said, "Bye" to everyone and went home.

I had a good time at their house. I wish we could go again soon so we can have more fun together and more food next time.

My really, happy weekend!

It was a Saturday morning and I felt really happy. I got out of bed and played Minecraft. I felt a roller coaster of emotions. After my game, I did my chores.I had to clean out the rubbish bins, make the beds and put away the dishes.

When I was done, I went back to playing Minecraft. Then my uncles came back from work. They are building a two story house, but Michael had a rugby game so my mum got ready was getting ready. However I kept playing my game because I didn't want to go. My Nana was still doing the chores and I was bored because my cousins weren't coming over.

The following day, I went to church with my Nana and grandpa. When church ended we went home.
When I got home, I played with my iPod.My mum and dad brought a sponge cake so I had some. At nightime, I went with my dad to my other Nana's house we went the my aunty's house.

My wonderful weekend!

It was a beautiful morning ,the sun was shinning brightly upon us and there was not a single cloud in the sky.I felt happy that it was going to be a great day.

I had weet-bix for breakfast then I played Minecraft. All of a sudden I hear my cranky nana was yelling at my uncle Michael like a teacher growling at you.

I was in shock the he was yelling at him.I finished my chores quickly and that's when my baby cousin arrived they were greedy because they wanted everything .I was annoyed at them because they teased me ,took my things and they threw everything around.

After a little while, my mum told me that we were going to the movies. My baby cousin Andreas told me that I wasn't going because he always says that I'm not going. However I got ready because I didn't believe him.I
was so excited I couldn't stop moving.

As soon we to the cinemas we went to the counter and paid for our tickets.Then we went upstairs waited in line.The line was as long as a snake and waited for ages until it started moving.

We went to the right numbered door for our movie I couldn't wait to watch it on the big screen.We went to our seats and the movie soon started after that we had some popcorn and ice cream it was yummy.

The movie was based on a adventure.I thought it was very cool,but my dad almost fell asleep.

When the movie was over ,we went to get MacDonald's and went home.

The beginning of the day wasn't that great because my cousins teased me but the rest of the day was good because I watched a movie that I like and at McDonald's.
